Louise Bancroft Hawkins formerly from Mobile, Al. now residing on Ono Island in Orange Beach, AL. recently published a book written by her late husband Capt. Arthur Ray (Hawk) Hawkins. It is a wonderful story of Hawk’s life as a true American war hero of WWII and his military service thru the Korean war and Vietnam ,in a compelling story of bravery as one of the Navy’s most decorated Naval Aviators during that time. Hawk was a member of the Blue Angels and one of the founders of the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL.
